ANDES TO AMAZON ³

Andes To Amazon³

In June 2027, the Endurance Limits team (Darren, Arron & Matt) will push their boundaries by kayaking the full navigable length of Peru. The journey begins in the foothills of the Andes and continues to the heart of the Amazon, following a continuous, self-supported route across one of the world’s most powerful river systems, deep within the largest wilderness on Earth. The expedition spans 2,200 kilometres over 21 days, with each member in a solo expedition kayak.

This is not a guided tour, and there will be no support boat nearby if things go wrong. The challenge is pure adventure: an ultra-endurance, self-sufficient and remote expedition. The team expect to average 100 kilometres each day, paddling for ten hours in searing heat and relentless humidity. With over 500 kilometres between resupply points, they must be entirely self-sufficient, carrying everything needed in high-volume expedition kayaks. The route will demand navigation through floating debris, thunderstorms, wildlife, and encounters with remote communities. Wild camping will become routine, with nights spent in hammocks in the jungle or on deserted river banks.

The journey is not measured in miles, but in the lives it may change. This expedition is dedicated to supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital’s new children’s cancer centre. With every stroke, the team stands against childhood cancer, raising vital funds to ensure advanced care and brighter futures are within reach for every child. Here, endurance becomes impact, proving that when purpose leads, even the most daunting landscapes can give way to possibility.

If you are prepared to stand with those who refuse to accept limits, we invite you to become part of the Endurance Limits legacy. Your support is not simply a donation, it extends hope where it is needed most.
